The GIVI X01 is made using the best materials. The outer cap is in polycarbonate Lexan, the inner lining (allergenic, anti-sweat, removable and washable) a special “memory foam” cheek pillow that has the advantage of adapting itself to the face shape, and retaining its original thickness after use.

In addition to the clear anti-scratch and anti-fog visor, the helmet has an additional drop down smoked inner visor; the ventilation is guaranteed from the two big air intakes that you can see in the upper part of the cap (special covers provided with the helmet allows you to cover it in winter) and from the air intakes on the chin rests. With regard to this we have to underline the advantage offered by the summer version, which protects as a full face helmet but allows you to keep the advantage of ventilation that a jet helmet gives.

Great for hot-weather riders who need the best air flow but do not want to compromise on safety. it meets ECE approval (in all of its different configurations). In either configuration the noise levels are fairly quiet, even in the summer mode.

Do not miss out on this helmet. It has never been worn, only tried on. I had to order a smaller size. This helmet is extremely comfortable and very cool looking. Not a gimmick helmet but basically a 3 in 1 helmet that functions great in all its modes. The visors are super clear and will not fog up on you. The inner sun visor is fantastic and easily adjustable so it does not interfere with your line of sight and can be activated by a slide switch on the outside of the helmet for use while riding. The transformation between helmet modes is easy and quick. Another thing is the size of the visor seems enormous. In all the years of riding I have never worn a helmet with such a great field of view. It actually made me feel safer. Very light as well the X.01 weighs 1592 grams (3 lbs., 8-1/8 oz.).
